Primitive, an exhibition by independent Thai filmmaker and contemporary audiovisual artist Apichatpong Weerasethakul, consists of seven video-installations, a book and a series of photographs; the videos included in the show are Nabua, Making of the Spaceship, A Dedicated Machine, An Evening Shoot, I’m Still Breathing, Nabua Song and Primitive.

The Primitive exhibition was commissioned by Haus der Kunst (Munich), FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology, Liverpool) and Animate Projects (London), and was produced by Illuminations Films (London) and Kick the Machine Films (Bangkok).

Primitive will be shown at the MUAC as part of the UNAM’s International Film Festival (FICUNAM) and the Fantasmas de la Libertad (Ghosts of Freedom) curatorial program.
