kurimanzutto is pleased to present its newsletter June-December 2005. We are happy to share with you the artists’ and the gallery’s upcoming activities.
This summer, Gabriel Orozco is participating in The Experience of Art, in the Italian Pavilion in the 51st Venice Biennale. Abraham Cruzvillegas along with Dr. Lakra, have achieved their wish to participate in a collaborative exhibition, Los Dos Amigos, at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Oaxaca, Mexico. Gabriel Kuri is participating in the Material Time / Work Time / Life Time show curated by Jessica Morgan and part of this years’ Reykjavik Arts Festival in Iceland. Rirkrit Tiravanija, Monika Sosnowska and Gabriel Orozco are participating in the Luna Park Fantastic Art exhibition at Villa Manin, and Rirkrit Tiravanija’s solo show at the Serpentine Gallery in London opens on July 4.

Finally, we are glad to announce Damian Ortega’s artist residence in the Colecção Teixeira de Freitas in Lisbon, this summer, and DAAD Berlin grant for 2006. Also, Abraham Cruzvillegas starts his residency at Atelier Calder in France, and Jonathan Hernandez at Ibaraki, Japan.
