kurimanzutto announces the opening of its new space. A former timber yard built in 1949, was restored and adapted into exhibition space, offices and warehouse. The gallery’s natural process has lead to the necessity of concentrating our history and energy, this will be our place for encounter, research, and development of projects.

The inaugural exhibition reasserts kurimanzutto's conviction in collective work. In a twenty  one voices dialogue, Abraham Cruzvillegas, Carlos Amorales, Damián Ortega, Daniel Guzmán, Dr. Lakra, Eduardo Abaroa, Fernando Ortega, Gabriel Kuri, Gabriel Orozco, Jennifer Allora & Guillermo Calzadilla, Jimmie Durham, Jonathan Hernández, Miguel Calderón, Minerva Cuevas, Monika Sosnowska, Pawel Althamer, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Sofía Táboas, Thomas Hirschhorn, and Wilhelm Sasnal present their work in this new playing field.
