anri sala - o momento presente

The exhibition Anri Sala: o momento presente, is the second wide presentation of the Albanian artist Anri Sala in Brazil. It is a project that includes two exhibitions at Instituto Moreira Salles. The first of these took place at the IMS headquarters in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. The second stage of the exhibition occupies two floors of IMS Paulista and presents works still unpublished in the country.

In the São Paulo stage, Anri Sala: o momento presente will bring together recent works, mainly sound installations such as The Present Moment (2014), Long Sorrow (2005), Answer Me (2008), Le Clash (2010) and Tlatelolco Clash . The exhibition explains the political and at the same time sensitive dimension of Sala's work. On one hand, the works propose a critical evaluation of the contemporary world; on the other hand, impact the viewer's sensitivity through sound.
