Proyecto Líquido. Deseo / Fatalismo Mágico. Opera about desire and nostalgia in four acts.

We expose the artistic piece made by Mariana Castillo Deball and Carlos Sandoval in Milpa Alta (2016). A double vinyl with the sound record of actions carried out with local collaborators and a series of objects used during the actions.

On March 25, we will end with a listening session where this piece will dialogue with Guillermo Santamarina's collection that we now protect in foundation.

Proyecto Líquido, in its second edition 2016-2018, explored the desire in public spaces of the Cuenca de México, through 11 commissions of performances and sound actions created by artists from Mexico and other countries. Desire was explored as the principle that drives us to act, a complex force that governs and constitutes us and whose psychological states are expressed in anticipation, awakening and excitement, longing and longing, repentance .... But also as a system of values ​​and lifestyles that determine our existence.
